How to Factory Reset a Pourify Pourer

Need to reset a Pourer to clear its pairing or fix a sync issue? Here’s how to bring it back to factory settings using just the app and a magnet.

🧰 What You’ll Need

  • A small, strong magnet (like one from a fridge or speaker)

  • The Pourify Pourer to be reset

  • The Pourify app, installed and logged in

 

🔁 Step-by-Step: Resetting a Pourer

1. Unpair the Pourer in the App

  1. Open the Pourify app and go to your venue settings.

  2. Tap the Pourer you want to reset.

  3. Press the pink “✕” icon next to it and select Unpair.

  4. Confirm the unpairing.

This will remove the Pourer from your dashboard.

2. Trigger the Factory Reset with a Magnet

Once the Pourer is unpaired:

  • Flip the Pourer over to locate the small dot on the back (opposite side of the logo).

  • Place a magnet directly over the dot and hold it firmly for 60 seconds.

🧲 There is no LED indicator on the Pourer, so you won’t see a light—but after 60 seconds, the reset is complete.

💡 When Should I Reset a Pourer?

  • You’re moving it to another venue or bottle

  • It’s not pairing correctly with the Hub

  • You’re troubleshooting unusual pour data

  • You want to start fresh after extended downtime

⚠️ Troubleshooting Tips

  • Not sure it worked? Try scanning the Pourer again in the app.

  • Still paired after reset? Repeat the 60-second magnet hold using a stronger magnet.
